Get the ideas out of your teams’ heads and onto the page.

If you have more ideas than you know what to do with, this session helps you distil them into an effective plan — for taking a team through change, writing articles and blog posts, or finally getting that book written.
This training workshop is a hands-on approach to writing compelling opinion pieces that grow your authority, brand and reputation. You will learn how to take an idea and break it down into bite-sized pieces for a staff meeting, a blog post, an article or a presentation of your own — plus best practice for writing online, and how to get it in front of the right people.
The 20-minute keynote version
For high-impact, participatory, practical learning, there is a quick-fire 20-minute version of this presentation, ideal for a conference keynote or a staff training day. Delegates find clarity through a step-by-step worksheet that gets the ideas out of their heads and onto paper before they leave the room.
Why Megan
Megan is a freelance journalist, radio correspondent, international presenter and award-winning travel writer. She has been writing for national and international publications for twenty-six years, and was Travel Editor at Yahoo! NZ, where she oversaw the channel climb from number 18 to number one in the New Zealand travel category.
She brings hard-won craft to this workshop: how to structure a story, how to make a complex idea easy to understand, how to beat writer’s block, and how to write thought leadership that actually grows an author’s authority rather than sitting unread on a company blog.
Our brief was to help unleash our thought leaders and what she has achieved is above expectation. In the two workshops she has run, she has inspired our technical leaders to write compelling thought leadership for our new platform. News has spread throughout our company of this fantastic presenter, with many lining up to hear her speak.
